Many thanks to La Tanguerita, who sent me the link to some new Cecilia and Horatio videos. I had to post this one for the crazy hyper-extended multi-volcada at the start. The 4th video in the same series has some other interesting legwork. I love the way she plays. As you all know by now! :)

hmmm...
I dunno. This one was a little too over the top for me. I appreciate Cecilia's grace and she is so lovely. Never in a million years could I do what she can.
I think I would need to see a performance like this live in order to really take it in.
That's fair enough! It is further than usual from what you can do on the social dancefloor. But as it's not the social dancefloor that doesn't bother me.
However, as I was saying to La Tanguerita a few posts back, in this series of videos Horatio and Cecilia look to me like they might be a little burnt out from the road. Not surprising - it amazes me that these guys survive their tours at all. A friend of mine recently came back from a long tour swearing he was never going to do it again. Can't be easy.
Yeah, that's one helluva volcada. I think I like it.
Crazy, eh? I love it.
Wow, that is exploring the concept! I like it but is Cecilia's back alright? It seems like she is begging for a slipped disk...
Anyway, I like the style (has I always liked) and I hope to have classes with them both...
I know - I wouldn't want to try it! I reckon she's got the technique and strength to cope, but there can't be many people who could.
I've taken classes with Cecilia GarcĂa and Santiago Dorkas in Tango Brujo (Esmeralda 754) and they are pretty good.
You can see them here:

Cecilia also gives classes with Horacio Godoy in La Viruta on Thursday.
